Yea, I know. Scary, huh? There are Xemnas' in real life.

His psychopathy would also explain he claims that "anger and hate reign supreme". Well, of course it would for him. Those are the only two emotions that supposedly register with a psychopath. Those emotions would convince him that he is ALIVE rather than empty and hollow. In causing misery to who knows how many people, he can feel "alive" at least for awhile. This is probably true with most members of the Organization.

Axel wanted to find another way, and he found it through friendship and trying to cultivate GOOD things rather than just being a "mean sonofabitch" like he was before Roxas.

Demyx probably kept a lot of his conscience through self-love and the love of music.

In the case of Roxas, well his "Heart" was still around through Sora. Same goes for Namine.
