Organization 13 and the "Pyramid of Strength"

You're probably wondering what "pyramid of strength" is supposed to mean in regards to Organization 13, but it's basically like the "pyramid of kindness" listed somewhere else on this Blog(I'm too lazy to link). It's based on my theory is that the strength of certain members is based on whether or not Sora can beat them alone or if he has to fight them as a team.

If he can beat them by himself, then they were among the "weaker" members of the Organization, but if he needed his friends(like Riku, Donald/Goofy), then they were among the stronger. This is just my opinion, so I don't expect everyone to agree.

Those in Chain of Memories and Luxord would then be among the weakest. Yes, this includes Axel. While those in KH 2 are among the "stronger"(Roxas included because even if Sora fought him alone, it's ROXAS. He fights for that is what he does). This would mean that Demyx is actually in the TOP half in terms of strength. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he were in the top five. Come on, why do you think people complained so damned much about him. I never heard that about Marluxia and HE'S the strongest in the COM group. Brrr...anyway(weakest in the bottom, the strongest on top).

Xemnas (duh)
Roxas, Xaldin
Saix, Xigbar, Demyx,
Marluxia, Lexaeus, Zexion, Axel,
Vexen, Larxene, Luxord

Okay, that's a very strange pyramid. Luxord would survive by simply being more a strategist. He'd be the sort that could beat a stronger enemy by simply planing better. Same could be said for Zexion. Too bad it didn't do him any good. Har! Har!

Some have complained that Roxas was actually easy. Then again, they said the same about Xemnas AND Saix(I've said the same). I had a difficult time with Demyx and Xaldin. I have yet to play the COM: Remake, but I suspect that the Axel fight would be easy at first, but the second battle would be much harder. Also, people speculate that Axel and Demyx would be evenly matched. Now, this I can agree with, but I still consider Demyx stronger because 1. It's easy to underestimate someone like Demyx, so you could easily lose without even realizing it. 2. Bard types like Demyx tend to be a "jack of all trades", so that leads to #1.

In a magic fight, Axel has NO chance. Water beats fire. It's that simple. In a physical fight, well, it's obvious that Axel would win since he is clearly a warrior type.

Some contend that Demyx would beat most people in the Organization. Personally, I think it depends on who it is. In a magic battle, it would be true, as Demyx is a powerful mage/bard type. In a physical fight? Not so much. Still, a lot of people felt exasperated for a reason while fighting him.

Your mileage may vary because for many fans, myself included, it's hard to be unbiased.
